We started the day looking for my dress and the first dress I tried on was the one I ended up getting. I probably only spent a couple hours looking at a few dresses and felt really great getting out unscathed and with a dress I love!
Next up was bridesmaid dresses for the 3 of them, so we headed to J. Crew. Luckily they had one of the styles in the store and in one of the colors I had been thinking of. They all tried the dress on and looked so cute. So we placed the order, got 3 different styles and were done by 2pm.
I'm so happy that we got everything done and enough time to relax and have fun. Now that more things are getting sorted, I'm getting more and more excited for the wedding. I hope everyone else is getting excited too for a great time!!!

Lo scorso weekend Andrea e Heather sono venute dall’Iowa per aiutarmi a scegliere il vestito di nozze. E’ stato un viaggio intenso per loro perché sono arrivate il sabato mattina e sono ripartite la domenica mattina. L’obiettivo da raggiungere in un giorno era la scelta del vestito da sposa e dei vestiti delle damigelle.
Abbiamo iniziato il giorno cercando il vestito per me e il primo vestito che ho provato è stato quello che alla fine ho scelto. Probabilmente ho speso solo un paio d’ore guardando un po’ di vestiti e mi sono sentita veramente sollevata uscendone illesa e con un vestito che mi piace.
Successivamente siamo passate ai vestiti per loro 3, per cui siamo andate da J. Crew. Fortunatamente avevano una linea di abbigliamento in negozio nei colori che avevo in mente per la cerimonia. Hanno provato ad indossare i vestiti e sono apparsi veramente carini addosso. Cosi’ abbiamo ordinato i vestiti in 3 stili differenti e abbiamo finito per le 2 del pomeriggio.
Sono cosi’ contenta che abbiamo fatto tutto risparmiando un po’ di tempo per rilassarci e divertirci. Ora che molte cose si stanno sistemando, sto diventando via via piu’ ansiosa per il matrimonio. Spero che anche gli altri siano ansiosi per un felice momento.
