Well, this is the last wedding post since all the festivities are done! Alberto and I want to thank all of our friends and family for making each of the celebrations we had (Chicago and Italy) so perfect! We couldn't have asked for more and we hope everyone had as much fun as we did.
Throwing 2 parties (one of them overseas) was a lot of work but it was definitely worth it! Pictures are posted on facebook but eventually I'll create a slideshow for the blog....
Anyways, we hope everyone had a great time helping us celebrate and we look forward to more fun times ahead!

Vicenza Favorites
Vicenza is the closest town to Montecchio Maggiore and where most people who are coming by train will be stopping. Below are some of my favorite places in Vicenza.
- Pizza Pub Re di Spagna, Contra Piancolli, 4 (0444 320661) - This pizza place has the largest variety of pizzas that I've seen so far in Italy. You can get a traditional type of pizza or one that is served on a wooden slate. The place is big and has a nice courtyard in the back.
- Hisyou, Piazza Delle Erbe 9 (0444 321044) - If/when you have had your fill of pasta, pizza and risotto, this smal sushi spot is a nice change of pace. They also serve other traditional japanese dishes so if you want to mix it up, you can.
- Gelateria - I'm not sure the exact name or address but just off the main square in Vicenza is a gelateria that has upstairs balconies that overlook the square. They serve a variety of gelato dishes such as gelato spaghetti, lasagna etc. Super fun!
Alberto, my parents and I leave today. It's hard to believe the time has come. We can't wait to see everyone soon!!

Venice Favorites
1 week until we leave for Italy!! It's unbelieveable how fast the time has flown. Alberto's (and my) to-do list is slowly getting shorter and this weekend is a big packing weekend for the trip. In preparation for the trip, below are some of our Venetian favorites!
- al Paradiso Ristorante - This is our favorite restaurant in Venice. No reservations required. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Every time we go to Venice we make sure we stop by for lunch or dinner. The owner is a friendly guy that walks the tables and talks to every customer. Last time he told us that in the mornings he goes to the local fish market so all his dishes are the freshest. It's close to the Rialto Bridge on Calle Paradiso near "ALBERGHI - NUOVA RESIDENZA LAGUNA"
- Harry's Bar http://www.harrysbarvenezia.com/ - Perhaps a bit of a tourist trap but this small bar serves a mean Bellini and has some cool history behind it. Earnest Hemingway used to frequent this establishment. They have many different types of Bellinis and the traditional is my favorite.

Rome Favorites
Time is getting closer so I wanted to share some of our favorites of Italy as you finish planning your trip. First up is Roma!
- Gusto (http://www.gusto.it/) - This is my favorite pizza place in Italy. They also have great bruschetta! It's fairly priced and I think they have english menus available too. The space is really cool inside and is centrally located. We'll be going there at least once with my parents in September!
- Campo de' Fiori (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campo_de'_Fiori) - Whenever Alberto and I are in Rome, we spend a part of the night having a drink in my favorite square! It is always very busy with lots of good people watching. There are tons of small cafes and bars to grab a seat outside and enjoy Rome!
- Old Bridge Ponte Vecchio Gelato (http://viatraveldesign.com/archive/8D83DA4C41F7C046/) - If you are in the mood for a LOT of gelato head to Ponte Vecchio Gelateria just outside the Vatican walls. For only a couple euros you'll get your money's worth of gelato!
Of course you can't miss the Colusseum, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Vatican, etc.... Rome is one of my favorite cities so I hope that if you are going there, you'll enjoy it too!

Friend Shower and Bachelorette
Last weekend my friends threw me a wonderful combo shower-bachelorette party. It was a lot of fun! We started out at Carrie and Jen's house and then headed out for a yummy dinner. Afterwards, we went to one of my favorite bars, Merkles, for drinks and dancing.
The next day we headed to Twin Lakes to meet Carrie's parents and enjoy an afternoon of tubing and boating. Unfortunately the weather wasn't so great, but we still had a lot fun hanging out. I'm still sore from all the tubing and falling into the lake.

Wedding Showers
I think the concept of having a wedding shower is American, but if this concept is alive somewhere else let me know. When someone throws the bride (and sometimes groom) a shower, it is a party before the wedding to celebrate the couple and usually give them gifts off the registry.
On July 26th, my aunt Sandy threw me a shower and most all my aunts and girl cousins were able to make it. It was a beautiful party at a restaurant in Northbrook. The food was delicious and there were fun games and prizes! When I brought home everything that I received from my family at the shower, Alberto was in amazement. Since the concept of a shower isn't in Italy, he didn't know what to expect. He had fun for hours unpacking all his new kitchen toys!
On August 1st after my family from Buffalo came into town, the Bryzinskis and Janowskys threw Alberto and I a shower. This time Alberto was able to enjoy opening the gifts and celebrating with good food. He loved it!

Chicago Party = Success!
Yesterday was the family BBQ for my (Kim's) side of the family. All week long, we had been monitoring the weather hoping we would have nice weather. Early on the weathermen were forecasting rain, but slowly their forecast changed. We have the most perfect weather ever and we feel so lucky! The day before was gloomy and rainy, and we had 80 degrees and sunny. Couldn't have asked for more!
I hope that everyone had a nice time at the party! Alberto and I definitely did! It was really nice to introduce Alberto to the Ostman and Sparkes sides of my family. There were about 60 of us there total, which turned out to be the perfect size for the venue.

Invitations are in the mail!
It's been a long time since the last post, but we have mostly been working on invitations and finalizing everything for the Chicago family party.
On Sat., we dropped all the invitations in the mail so you should be receiving them in the next few days (for those in the US) and weeks (for our international guests).
For everyone outside of the US and Italy, please feel free to let me know if you are attending via email (if you haven't already). We weren't able to find stamps for the response cards for all the other countries.
We can't believe it is about 2 months until the big day. We hope everyone is getting excited!!

Introducing....my bridesmaids
Maid of Honor: Andrea Marinaro
First off is my bestest friend in the whole wide world and long time travel companion, Andrea Marinaro. I met Andrea in college through our sorority, Chi Omega. One day she came to the room that Heather and I shared looking for Heather. I trapped her there and eventually we became best friends. We've been all over the world together and have LOTS of stories that are at least entertaining to ourselves. Andrea is especially looking forward to the wedding in Italy to go back to her homeland. One area that might be challenging is that her name is a man's name in Italy, so I've already taught her how to say "I am a woman" in Italian.
La mia migliore amica in assoluto e compagna di viaggi a lungo tempo, Andrea Marinaro. Ho incontrato Andrea al college attraverso l'associazione universitaria Chi Omega.
Un giorno è entrata nella stanza che Heather ed io dividevamo in cerca di Heather. In quell'occasione l'ho imbrogliata e successivamente siamo diventate amiche. Sarah and I also met in college through Chi-Omega my last year at Iowa. We've lived together for over 5 years in various apartments in Chicago. She has always been the best roommie and friend to hang with at home. Sarah is a loyal and dedicated sports fan. Her favorite teams include the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks. But we share a mutual adoration for our beloved Iowa Hawkeyes and have been known to attack a basketball and football player or two!Anche Sarah ed io ci siamo incontrate al college attraverso l'associazione Chi-Omega durante il mio ultimo anno in Iowa. Abbiamo vissuto assieme per oltre 5 anni in diversi appartamenti a Chicago. E' sempre stata la miglior compagna di stanza e amica con cui accompagnarsi a casa. Heathie for Prez: Heather Link
Heather was my first roommate and friend in Chi-Omega. I think we first bonded on the dance floor at a frat party after I joined the sorority. She has her signature moves and definitely likes to bust a move to good music. Heather, Andrea and I lived together our last semester at Iowa and I remember her studying so much that she fell asleep with all her books in bed with her. She's the busiest and most motivated woman I know. And I'm sure after she's done raising her kids, we'll see her in the White House.Heather è stata la mia prima compagna di stanza in Chi-Omega. Penso abbiamo legato la prima volta nella sala da ballo ad una festa della fratellanza dopo la mia unione all'associazione.
Heather, Andrea ed io abbiamo vissuto assieme il nostro ultimo semestre in Iowa e ancora la ricordo studiare così tanto da cadere addormentata con tutti i libri nel letto con lei. Lei è la più impegnata e motivata donna che conosco. Sono sicura che dopo aver cresciuto i suoi figli, la vedremo alla Casa Bianca.

Italian Wedding Site Pictures!
Ok, I'm finally back home and able to load up some pictures! In this picture, you can see from the entrance of the castle the courtyard. In the middle is the bar and on the left are some tables and chairs to relax in. On the right is "Cupidos" where the dj will be set up and an area of couches for lounging are around. There will also be room for a small dance floor. I almost broke my first rule of wedding planning and had the dj on the other side of the courtyard. But everyone knows that the key to a good party is to have the dance floor as close to the bar as possible!Ok, sono finalmente tornata a casa ed ho potuto così "uploadare" alcune foto. In questa immagine si puo' vedere il cortile dall'entrata al castello. Nel mezzo c'e' il bar e a sinistra alcuni tavoli e sedie per rilassarsi. A destra c'e' il "Cupido" dove il dj organizzerà un'area di divanetti per distendersi. Ci sarà anche spazio per una piccola pista da ballo. Ho quasi rotto la mia prima regola della pianificazione del matrimonio posizionando il dj dall'atra parte del cortile. Ma tutti sanno che la chiave per una festa ben riuscita è di avere la pista da ballo il più possibile vicina al bar!
If the weather is good (fingers crossed!), it should be a really nice area to have the party after dinner. Lots of places to sit either close to the action or further away. Here's a closer picture of Cupidos. At night, they'll put some cushions on those benches, so it should be comfy! Under the sign is where the DJ will be set up. I'm trying to get his playlist now, but let me know if there are any special requests! Sto cercando di ottenere la playlist, ma fatemi sapere se avete richieste particolari! Lo sapete che ci saranno almeno 5 occasioni per suonare.

Home again, home again, jiggity jig...
So we head back to Chicago soon with all of our wedding planning completed. It was a very productive 10 days, so now we can relax and wait for the big day. I'll leave the last post from Italy fittingly about the food for the wedding.
The current agenda for the wedding day is as follows:
- 5pm ceremony
- 5:30 - 7pm buffet & drinks
- 7pm - 10pm dinner
- 10pm - 2am drinks and dancing
So the question is...will you be ready to eat for 5 1/2 hours?
For the buffet there will be a variety of foods like prociutto, mozzarella, vegetables and other assorted light appetizers.
For dinner, there will be:

I don't want to give all the details of the meal and ruin the surprise. But it should be really good! After dinner will be fruit and the wedding cake. Alberto also just reminded me there will be assorted cheeses as well!! Hopefully after all that food, you'll be able to sit back, relax and have a drink or two. Or even better, dance!
If there's one tip about Italy I can give anyone, it's leave your diet at the boarder. There's no room for South Beach in this country so enjoy it! I know I have and will soon need a strict exercise regimen in order to fit into my dress!

- seguiti da un sorbetto (gelato e spumante per pulire il palato… o più semplicemente da ingurgitare come faccio io!); e
- un secondo piatto (di carne)
Se c'è un suggerimento sull'Italia che posso dare, è di lasciare la dieta alla frontiera. Non c'è spazio per South Beach in questa nazione per cui godetevela! Lo so che tra un po' avro' bisogno di seguire uno stretto regime di esercizi fisici per entrare nei miei vestiti!

Planes, Trains & Automobiles

Planes
- The closest airport is Verona, which is about 30 minutes by car (or 20 min by train to Vicenza) to Montecchio Maggiore.
- Next closest is Venice which is about an hour by car (or an hour by train to Vicenza).
- Milan is probably the 3rd best option, at about 2 hours by car (2 1/2 - 3 by train to Vicenza)
Trains
- Trains are an inexpensive and easy way to travel between cities in Italy. If you fly from Milan, you can take a train to the central station and then from there take a train headed to Venice and get off at Vicenza. All Milan/Venice trains stop in Vicenza.
- Trenitalia offers an online tool to see train schedules and even book (http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=c79686605528a110VgnVCM1000003f16f90aRCRD) Although I would recommend waiting to buy your ticket until at the station.
- Trains run every 30 min or so between Milan and Venice so they are pretty frequent. Be aware that some trains are "local" trains and take longer than the "express" trains. You'll be able to distinguish by looking at the stops on the time table.
- Vicenza is the closest train stop to Montecchio Maggiore. When arriving there you can take a taxi to the hotel for about 15 euros.
Automobiles
- If you are up for the adventure of driving in Italy, double your life insurance and then book a car with Avis or Hertz.
- Be aware that the standard rental car in Italy will be manual transmission (stick shift). So you'll need to make special arrangements/requests to get an automatic transmission.
Aereo
- L'aereo piu' vicino è Verona che è a circa 30 minuti d'auto (o 20 minuti di treno fino a Vicenza) da Montecchio Maggiore.
- Il secondo piu' vicino è Venezia che è circa un'ora d'auto (o un'ora di treno fino a Vicenza).
- Milano è probabilemente la terza opzione a circa 2 ore d'auto (2,5 - 3 di treno fino a Vicenza)
Treno
- I treni sono economici e costituiscono un mezzo per viaggiare facilmente tra varie città in Italia. Se volate da Milano, potete prendere un treno fino alla Stazione Centrale e poi da lì, un treno per Venezia e scendere a Vicenza. Tutti i treni Milano-Venezia di fermano a Vicenza.
- Trenitalia offre un sito web per vedere gli orari dei treni e anche per prenotare (http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=c79686605528a110VgnVCM1000003f16f90aRCRD) ma vi suggerirei di comprare il biglietto alla stazione.
- I treni tra Milano e Venezia viaggiano ogni 30 minuti circa per cui sono abbastanza frequenti. Da notare che alcuni treni sono "locali" e richiedono piu' tempo dei treni "espressi". Li potrete distinguere guardando sulle fermate indicate nella tabella orari.
- Vicenza è la fermata dei treni piu' vicina a Montecchio Maggiore. Quando arriverete a Vicenza, potrete prendere un taxi fino all'hotel per circa 15 euro.
Automobile
- Se sei in cerca di avventura e vuoi guidare in Italia, raddoppia la tua assicurazione sulla vita e poi prenota un'auto all'Avis o Hertz.
- Da notare che tipicamente le auto a noleggio in Italia hanno il cambio manuale. Per cui dovrai fare un'esplicita richiesta all'autonoleggio per avere un'auto con cambio automatico.

Yesterday we met with the florist and picked out our table arrangements and colors. It was pretty painless and I'm looking forward to see how they turn out.
The meeting with the photographer was good too. He had this tiny studio where we could see some of his recent pictures. I'm not so into the posey posey style of photos for weddings, so we're going with a photojournalist for the event. The pictures are really nice and tell more of a story of the entire day. He'll be taking about 1000 - 1200 pictures throughout the night, so there are bound to be some good pics. If you want to check out this site it is:

Ieri abbiamo visitato il fiorista e scelto gli ornamenti dei tavoli e i colori. E' stato gradevole e piuttosto semplice e sono curiosa di vedere come risulterà.
Anche l'incontro col fotografo è andato bene. Ha un piccolo studio dove abbiamo visionato alcune delle sue recenti fotografie. Poiché lo stile "in posa" non mi piace molto, per l'evento abbiamo scelto lo stile "fotogiornalismo". Le immagini sono veramente belle sono organizzate in modo da raccontare la storia dell'intero evento. Shuttle Information
Another day, another task completed. We've arranged the shuttle details and will be providing transportation from the Hotel & Residence Castelli to Juliet's Castle the afternoon of the wedding. There will be two pick-ups prior to the wedding:
Altro giorno, altra attività completata. Oggi abbiamo organizzato i dettagli della navetta per il trasporto dall'Hotel & Residence Castelli fino al Castello di Giulietta il giorno della cerimonia. Ci saranno due corse il pomeriggio prima della cerimonia:
- 3:15pm pickup - arrive 3:45pm
- 4:15pm pickup - arrive 5pm
The ceremony will start at 5pm, so either shuttle should suffice. For the return trip, there will be 3 options to return to Hotel Castelli:
- 12am pickup - arrive 12:30am
- 1am pickup - arrive 1:30am
- 2am pickup - arrive 2:30am
The entire event will run from 5pm to 2am, including ceremony, dinner and drinks/dancing. Get excited!

Italy Hotel Information for Wedding
Yesterday we had another busy day with pre-wedding activities. We checked out all the hotels on the list, saw their rooms and checked for "special" pricing.

So, after viewing the hotels, rooms and rates we have decided to recommend the Hotel Castelli and Residence Castelli in Montecchio Maggiore. See links on right -->
The hotel is a 4 star hotel, but keep in mind that the rooms are european style. They are clean and provide the necessities. There is a hotel bar and pool, in terms of amenities. In the hotel there are 2 types of rooms.

- "Regular Room" - The first is 57 euros per night per room and is the older part of the hotel. They are a tad bit smaller than the newer rooms and if you like the color baby blue, you'll be in heaven.
- "Executive Room" - For 62 euros per night per room, you can stay in the newer part of the hotel. Slightly bigger and with calmer neutral shades, I'm sure you'll be comfortable for your night.
Each room fits 2 and if you want an extra bed there is a cost of 20 euros to fit 3. All rates include breakfast.
There are also the Residences which have proper rooms and kitchens and can fit up to 3 for about 75 euros per night.
The hotel said that there will be a convention in September in nearby Vicenza, so I would recommend everyone book their rooms as soon as you can. You can either call or email the hotel to book. Just mention that you are attending the wedding of Kim and Alberto at Juliet's Castle and you will get the special rates!

Ricordatevi però di dire che parteciperete al matrimonio di Kim e Alberto al Castello di Giulietta e avrete così diritto alla tariffa speciale.

Bomboniere
Hi, we're in Italy now and doing the last details of the wedding planning. Yesterday we made an attempt to finalize the photographer, but to no avail. Unfortunately he wasn't at his studio, so we'll have to go back later this week to sort that out. But we did pick out our bomboniere with the help of Alberto's mom.
For my American friends, and perhaps others, we have no concept of bomboniere but they are all the rage here in Italy. At first I thought they were the little almonds that everyone gets at the wedding, but it turned out to be much more. Essentially, each family or person who attends the wedding gets a gift from the bride and groom. So, if there wasn't enough incentive to come to our wedding....hopefully now there is! You get a gift!
Today we're going to the castle for a tasting. Alberto's parents have already tried the food and liked it, so I'm looking forward to it. After that, all we have left to do is flowers, dj, cake, bus and check out the hotels. Luckily we still have over a week here! Stay tuned for more information as we get things sorted.
Ciao, adesso siamo in Italia e ci stiamo occupando degli ultimi dettagli dell'organizzazione del matriomonio. Ieri abbiamo fatto un tentativo per ingaggiare il fotografo, ma non era disponibile. Sfortunatamente non era nel suo studio per cui dovremo tornare alla fine della settimana per completare questa attivita'. Ma abbiamo scelto le bomboniere con l'aiuto della mamma di Alberto.

Per cui se non prima non avevate abbastanza incentivi per venire al nostro matrimonio… speriamo che adesso li abbiate! Avrete un regalo!

Italy here we come....
So today we bought our tickets to Italy for the wedding. Alberto and I are going to travel through Italy for a week or so before the wedding with my parents. It should be a lot of fun since my mom and dad haven't been to Italy before. My dad is practicing his Italian and can almost pronouce the Italian word for "hosiptal". I'm not sure why this is the first word that he is learning, he must have a bad feeling about something....

Oggi abbiamo comperato i biglietti per l’Italia per il matrimonio. Alberto ed io viaggeremo attraverso l’Italia per circa una settimana prima del matrimonio con i miei genitori. Ci divertiremo un sacco dal momento che mia mamma e mio papà non sono mai stati in Italia. Mio papà sta imparando l’italiano e può quasi pronunciare in italiano la parola “hospital” (“ospedale”). Non sono sicura del motivo per cui questa sia la prima parola che sta imparando, evidentemente deve avere un cattivo presentimento…

Productive Weekend - Dresses are DONE!
This past weekend Andrea and Heather drove in from Iowa to help me look for wedding dresses. It was a whirlwind trip for them because they arrived on Sat. morning and then left Sunday morning. 1 day and a wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses chosen, was the goal.
We started the day looking for my dress and the first dress I tried on was the one I ended up getting. I probably only spent a couple hours looking at a few dresses and felt really great getting out unscathed and with a dress I love!
Next up was bridesmaid dresses for the 3 of them, so we headed to J. Crew. Luckily they had one of the styles in the store and in one of the colors I had been thinking of. They all tried the dress on and looked so cute. So we placed the order, got 3 different styles and were done by 2pm.
I'm so happy that we got everything done and enough time to relax and have fun. Now that more things are getting sorted, I'm getting more and more excited for the wedding. I hope everyone else is getting excited too for a great time!!!

Lo scorso weekend Andrea e Heather sono venute dall’Iowa per aiutarmi a scegliere il vestito di nozze. E’ stato un viaggio intenso per loro perché sono arrivate il sabato mattina e sono ripartite la domenica mattina. L’obiettivo da raggiungere in un giorno era la scelta del vestito da sposa e dei vestiti delle damigelle.
Abbiamo iniziato il giorno cercando il vestito per me e il primo vestito che ho provato è stato quello che alla fine ho scelto. Probabilmente ho speso solo un paio d’ore guardando un po’ di vestiti e mi sono sentita veramente sollevata uscendone illesa e con un vestito che mi piace.
Successivamente siamo passate ai vestiti per loro 3, per cui siamo andate da J. Crew. Fortunatamente avevano una linea di abbigliamento in negozio nei colori che avevo in mente per la cerimonia. Hanno provato ad indossare i vestiti e sono apparsi veramente carini addosso. Cosi’ abbiamo ordinato i vestiti in 3 stili differenti e abbiamo finito per le 2 del pomeriggio.
Sono cosi’ contenta che abbiamo fatto tutto risparmiando un po’ di tempo per rilassarci e divertirci. Ora che molte cose si stanno sistemando, sto diventando via via piu’ ansiosa per il matrimonio. Spero che anche gli altri siano ansiosi per un felice momento.
Grazie ad Andrea, Heather e Sarah per essere di grande aiuto questo weekend e per fornire un valido aiuto. Ecco una mia foto davanti ad un terribile negozio di vestiti da sposa… mi piace da morire!

Tools for Travel Deals
Trying to find good deals on airfare? This post provides some recommendations of online tools that alert you when airfares are lowered for pre-determined destinations. Mentioned in this article is Farecompare.com and a few others. I've never used these tools but it seems that you can create a profile with your preferred destinations and departure points and it will send you email updates when fares drop!

Italian Wedding & Reception Location Details
On September 19, 2009 we'll have a short marriage ceremony followed by dinner, drinks and dancing at Juliet's Castle in Montecchio Maggiore, Italy. I am so excited to welcome all of our friends and family to Alberto's hometown area. It is absolutely beautiful with wonderful views of the Italian Alps and fantastic Italian cuisine. Juliet's castle is perched high on top of a hill where you can see the Alps and valley below.
When you enter the castle there is a nice open courtyard where the ceremony will be held. After the ceremony, there will be drinks and hor' d'oeuvres outside. We'll also have a proper Italian style dinner (many, many courses) followed by drinks and dancing inside & outside. I hope you enjoy the location as much as we do and can join us to celebrate!
Il 19 settembre 2009 avremo una breve cerimonia del matrimonio seguita da una cena, drinks e ballo al Castello di Giulietta a Montecchio Maggiore, Vicenza. Sono veramente felice di accogliere tutti i nostri amici e la nostra famiglia nella zona natale di Alberto. E' un posto meraviglioso con una splendida vista delle Alpi e una fantastica cucina italiana. Il castello di Giulietta giace in cima ad un colle da dove si possono ammirare le Alpi e le valle sottostante.
Quando entri al castello troverai un grazioso cortile dove si terrà la cerimonia. Dopo la cerimonia, ci saranno drinks e antipasti all'aperto. Avremo inoltre una tipica cena in stile italiano (con molte portate) seguite da drinks e ballo all'interno e all'esterno. Mi auguro che il posto vi piaccia quanto piace a noi e vi possiate unire a noi per i festeggiamenti.Chicago Family BBQ Location Details
On August 2, 2009 we'll have a family BBQ style dinner at The Grove in Glenview at the Redfield Estate to celebrate. We had my grandparents' anniversary party here and I remembered how it was a great space to handle the size of my family. 
Hopefully the weather will turn out and we can celebrate outside with nice dinner and drinks. Otherwise, there is nice indoor seating in the house that will handle everyone just fine.
It'll be a casual event and I'm looking forward to introducing my family to Alberto!
Il 2 agosto 2009 avremo una cena familiare con grigliata al “The Grove in Glenview” presso il Redfield Estate. In questo locale abbiamo celebrato l’anniversario dei miei nonni e ricordo quanto spazio ci fosse per accomodare l’intera mia famiglia.
Speriamo che il tempo sia clemente e che possiamo celebrare all’aperto con una cena piacevole e dei drinks. Altrimenti ci sono gli ambienti interni che possono accomodare opportunamente tutti gli ospiti.
Sarà un evento informale e non vedo l’ora di introdurre la mia famiglia ad Alberto.

Juliet's castle in Montecchio Maggiore is the location. Montecchio Maggiore is:
- 1 hour east of Verona
- 1 hour west of Venice
- 2 1/2 hours east of Milan
The closest train station is in Vicenza and from the station a 20 min taxi ride to Montecchio Maggiore.
